I Suggest.....

Can we have a thread in which all active members/seeders are able to post what torrents they are currently seeding. Not at that particular time but when the torrent program is running. Once a new download has finished the member is then able to edit there post, adding the na,e of the new torrent that they will now be seeding when online.

Hope this makes sense, basically a thread where members can see which torrents have the most seeders.

Well, that would be quite a mess I would assume, but you can go to the torrent module, you will see "most popular torrents" stats so you can see which ones are popular and which ones are obviously going to be seeded more than others. I'll talk to SG and see what he thinks.

Torrent Downloads

Thanks for the suggestions!

You can also view a member profile, like star gazers:

http://www.cowboysmedia.com/member.php?u=1

In the tab listing, click the arrows >> and you'll get a Torrents option. Click that, and you can see every torrent that user uploaded.

Hey FP I think what he is saying is he would like to see a stat that shows on-line seeding status. For example, if I close my Utorrent client, I stop seeding the files I have uploaded to the torrent module.

I can cross over an ip address from the client software with the Admin. CP and determine who is seeding, but members don't have that luxury.

Guys we may have a tracker in the future, but that will have to wait. At least until we have a solution for the bandwidth demand that it imposes.

Yeah thats right SG. It all good knowing what has been uploaded and by who. But its not good if the uploader isnt online. You may see its popular so Download it but no seeders are actually connected.

Just keep whatever you're downloading open and it should start at sometime! SG is always seeding and I'm trying to as well.

Unless you're running a dedicated tracker it's not possible.
